High-quality care starts with you
One in ten people will experience an eating disorder, yet access to care remains limited. EDPEN provides interdisciplinary training for medical, mental health, nutrition providers and recovery coaches —so every patient has access to informed, effective care.
Our programs are designed to be:
- Practical and immediately applicable—so you can take skills back to your patients right away.
- Evidence-based and family-centered—rooted in multidisciplinary care.
- Tailored for your setting–from foundational learning to expert-level treatment
Trauma-informed and culturally sensitive—reflecting the diverse realities of the people you serve.

Learning Pathways
Our trainings are rooted in a team approach to treatment for Anorexia, ARFID, Binge Eating Disorder, Bulimia, and OSFED. At EDPEN, we incorporate family-centered care, which is informed by principles of Family-Based Treatment (FBT). We train behavioral health and medical providers to work with patients of all ages, creating access to at-home treatment for those who need it, and deepening treatment models within higher levels of care. We offer a variety of options to fit your needs:
- 2-day training conferences (in-person) – Boise, ID Fall 2026
- Site-specific, clinical care team training
- Advanced FBT-informed training for treatment centers
- Online webinars and courses (coming soon!)

Together we can address the treatment gaps
- Overall, only about 20% of eating disorders seen by outpatient providers are accurately detected and diagnosed.
- An estimated 77-80% of people with eating disorders never receive treatment.
- Many patients, especially those in rural or underserved locations, must travel out of state to access higher levels of care due to a lack of local specialists.
The lack of trained providers is a critical public health issue that leads to delayed diagnoses, inadequate care, and contributes to the high mortality associated with eating disorders.
